Return & Refund Policy

At Effa Sidek Atelier, every piece is crafted with care and passes a quality check before it ships. This policy explains when and how you can exchange or return your order. Please read it before purchasing.

Ready Stock (RTW) Exchanges

You may request a size or colour exchange within 7 days of receiving your order, provided that:

  • The item is unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and still has its original tags
  • The item is in its original condition with packaging
  • You have proof of purchase (order number or receipt)

Exchanges are subject to current stock. For change-of-mind exchanges, we issue store credit or an item exchange only. We do not offer cash refunds for change of mind.

Return shipping costs are borne by you, unless the item is faulty or we sent the wrong item.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or different from your order, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos or a video of the item. Once verified, we will arrange an exchange or a full refund including shipping costs. If the replacement is out of stock, we will offer store credit or a refund.

Custom Size Orders

Custom Size orders require full payment upfront and are made to your measurements. Once your measurements are confirmed via WhatsApp, Custom Size orders cannot be cancelled, exchanged, or refunded (non-refundable), as they are made specifically for you.

Custom Size orders take 14 to 21 working days to complete after measurements are confirmed.

Clearance / As-Is

Items in the Clearance or As-Is categories, and items purchased with a voucher or sale discount, are sold as-is and are final sale. These items cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are damaged or incorrectly shipped.

How to Request

  1. WhatsApp us at +60192585096 within the stated period, including your order number.
  2. We will confirm eligibility and provide return instructions.
  3. Send the item using a trackable postage service. You are responsible for the item until it reaches us.
  4. Once we receive and inspect the item, we will process the exchange, store credit, or refund (if eligible).

Approved refunds or store credit will be processed within 14 working days. Cash refunds (where eligible) are returned to the original payment method. Store credit is valid for 1 year from the date of issue.

Note

We reserve the right to decline returns that do not meet the conditions above, or that arrive in an unsatisfactory condition. Accounts showing suspicious return patterns may be monitored. This policy applies to direct purchases at effasidekatelier.com within Malaysia only.
